Testimonials
Hundreds of students have had a positive experience at the Fairview Mall Tutoring Academy over the past 20 years. Here is a sampling of some of these students:
I could never seem to do well on tests even though I studied and felt prepared. I want to study Engineering but I felt this dream was slipping away. Since attending the Academy my marks have gone up a lot. I was getting in the mid 60’s in Grade 11 and now I’m in the high 80’s in Grade 12. What makes the Academy so special are the amazing teachers. Not only do they know the material really well, they can also explain things so I do get it. They also really CARE! I’m now pretty sure I’ll get in to Engineering at U of T.
Andrew T. – Grade 12 Student
Our daughter was struggling in school. A friend told us about the success her kids were having at the Academy, so we decided to give it a try. The Academy immediately identified areas in Math and English that Meaghan was behind in and they quickly closed those gaps. Meaghan is now working ahead of her grade level in both subjects. Unlike before, she now looks forward to going to school and she loves going to the Academy.
Meaghan B. – Grade 3 Student
We all live vicariously through our children so it would go without saying that we, as parents, want them to be successful in every aspect of their lives. As a busy working parent in a demanding full-time job with its deadlines, my expectation for excellence is unwavering. Having said this, I would expect no less from my daughter (Bryanna) who at an early age understood the importance of her academic studies.
Bryanna initially started with Kumon Math when she was 4 ½ years old and learned the mechanics of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Unfortunately there was no exposure to problem sets, which seemed to be the focus of her homework at school. Therefore we transitioned to Fairview Mall Tutoring Academy when she was age 7.
Currently Bryanna is in her second year at the University of Toronto, St. George campus studying Criminology and Sociological Studies. When we reflect back on her 10 years at Fairview tutoring academy, the professional instructors were instrumental in preparing her for future academic goals. They spent a lot of time with Bryanna by making the lessons innovative, building her skills in critical thinking, developing confidence and shaping her thought process as well as influence her in creative expression and knowledge. Additionally this allowed her to be successful as Class Valedictorian in Grades 6, 9, and 12.
Our journey with Fairview Mall Tutoring Academy has been amazing, and the guidance truly priceless. We will always be grateful to you for your support, kindness and endless encouragement.
Sincerely,
Karen L.
